Control Points
Each cold room exposes two control points that decide when alerts fire. Only breaches of these thresholds generate notifications — routine door open/close and normal temperature drift are logged to audit but stay silent.
How control points work
Alert thresholds — plain English
Absolute deviation from the room setpoint. When any shelf crosses this band a Critical Temperature Deviation alert is raised for that shelf. Tighter values catch drift earlier but trigger more alerts.
How long a closed-door rack may stay Open or Ajar before a High-severity Door Open Too Long alert fires. Applies only to Closed Door rooms; Open Shelf rooms ignore it.
